As there should be in all good blogs, today something extraordinary happened. R & J, who know about my plight regarding plane fares and lack of pesos, offered me a $10,000 'helping hand', for all the hard work I've put in this year.

I can't accept it of course, but isn't it incredible?

BTW, has anyone seen a flight from Puerto Plata to Cardiff for a good price recently? Let me know if you do. I was quoted $60,600 yesterday - that's around £1,515. You can buy a house for that here.
